Our Year 8 Geographers have completed a river project.  Students created a wonderful range of subject posters detailing their learning surrounding the course of a river.  They created 3D models which further displayed their understanding of the topic.

Please do come along to our night of indulgence at the PFA Pamper Evening!  Tickets are still available and can purchased via the school reception (please pop your ticket requirements and money in an envelope together with a contact number and your daughter/son’s name)

The PFA are making the finishing touches to what promises to be a magical evening!  The payment deadline has been extended to 21st June for the Y11 Prom – don’t miss out!

Year 7 Scientists studied colour mixing in a practical lesson.  The colour of an object depends upon the colour of light we shine on it.  Students worked with lights and coloured slides to investigate the effect of filters on coloured light.

Mrs Price our Examinations Officer took a Y11 assembly to help prepare students for the process surrounding their forthcoming GCSEs.  She talked through the examining body requirements and school procedure to ensure the exams run smoothly.  If students do have any further queries or concerns please could they go and see Mrs Price as soon as possible.

Netball Tour 2018.  From Friday 4th to Sunday 6th May, the Year 9 and 10 Netball teams went to Windmill Hill in East Sussex, to take part in a weekend Netball tournament and what a fantastic weekend it was! Not only did the girls play great Netball, they also took part in some fun activities including the 3G swing, abseiling, rock climbing and the trapeze.

The girls performed amazingly well, as they displayed excellent netball skills, true dedication and teamwork.
