Thank you for all your support at our Christmas Fair, it was such a lovely festive occasion! The PFA were delighted that so many of you donated so generously and attending the fair in such large numbers.  The PFA would like to say an extra special thank you to all the students who worked so really hard on the day - amazing!

Congratulations to all forms for their brilliant .. and exceptionally professional looking Christmas hampers which made such an impact at our Christmas Fair and contributed so greatly to our grand total (please see below pictures!).  Overall, after costs the Fair raised £3,500 – a magnificent sum as I’m sure you agree.  Our Student Council have been canvassing opinion from fellow students to agree on the next student project that will benefit from the monies raised.  The current potential project under discussion is an environmental one, a gardening club to provide plants for areas within school as well as a small area set aside to cultivate herbs and vegetables.  Our Chair, Catherine Goodhind will meet with the School Council to hear their proposals.

I’m pictured below with the Mayor of Dartford, Councillor Roger Perfitt and Catherine Goodhind, Chair of the PFA.

Christmas Lunch.

On Friday 13th December, we are having our traditional Christmas Dinner for all year groups. The set menu will be as follows:

Sl9

*Please note there is no snack bar available on these days.

The cost will be £3.10. No other meals will be served on these days.

If your child is not having Christmas Lunch this day, please ensure he/she brings a packed lunch in.

The Christmas Lunch will be served by ticket only.  For catering purposes, we will need to know numbers in advance.  Payment should be made via the parent pay system using the “Christmas Dinner” option and not “Dinner Money”.  Students will then be issued with a ticket, in registration on the day.  Payments should be made by the end of the school day on Tuesday 3 December. I regret that we shall not be able to provide Christmas Dinner ordered after this date.  If your son/daughter would like the vegetarian option can you please select this on ParentPay when you make the payment.

Please note if your son/daughter is in receipt of free school meals they will receive a ticket for both days so it will not appear on your parent pay account as an option.

Best wishes,
