Over the course of the next few weeks I will introduce our new teaching staff via our blog as well as share forthcoming events and dates for your diary.

Our premises team have overseen a number of improvements to our school site over the summer including the installation of a state-of-the-art fitness suite in our Holmes Sports Block and the completion of the new road layout, coach park and pedestrian crossing to provide safe passage for students onto the school premises.  Please note there is no entry to the coach park for drop-offs or parking.  Our school is served by a number of public bus services and private coaches which can be viewed on our website here and I would urge students to take advantage of the services listed and try to avoid car drop offs to Parsons Lane to prevent congestion which causes to delays and inconvenience to bus services and our neighbours.

Our new WG6 Year 12 students also joined us on induction day, enjoying a series of taster sessions to introduce them to our WG6 staff team as well as A Level study expectations and a tour of WG6 dedicated study areas.  Our sixth form (WG6) is co-ed and is based across both our Wilmington Grammar School for Boys and Wilmington Grammar School for Girls sites.
